Claire's Pastel Minis

When I saw swatches of this collection Getcha Nails Did http://getchanailsdid.blogspot.com/2010/02/stop-freakin-presses-claires-pastels.html
I had to have them. They come in a set of 6 minis for $12.50 as shown below. They're different than you normal run of the mill pastel so i'm going to call these pastel neons which most of them are.

I haven't had time to swatch all the colors just the peach shade. All the shades are lovely, but the blue wasn't what I expected at all. At some point in time I will swatch them all and give more in depth descriptions. For now here's a pic of the lovely shade I'm currently wearing.

Craving

I feel like I'm losing my mind waiting for April to get here. I am in love with every color in this collection and I need them NOW.

Last summer when I was looking neons these were the colors I imagined, and now that they have been created I feel like I'm going through withdrawals. I just want to look at them all the time.

I even find myself insanely jealous of all those lucky nail bloggers who have already gotten to try them out.
So you better believe as soon as I can purchase them they will be in my possession. MY PRECIOUS!!!

Here is another picture from my water marbling craze phase. When I first saw this technique I was mesmerized and had to make tons of samples. I was hooked! It takes longer than just doing it right on the nail but it looks so much better this way. Plus you don't have to worry about it looking like crap if you work with it to much.

The colors I used were Hot Purple by Jesse's Girl, Nail Noir by Creative, and Crystal Ball from the Sally Hansen Magical collection. The top coat I used was Grape Shimmer from Revlon's Glimmer Gloss collection, and I added some stellar little lavender star shaped rhinestones.
